Course Description

This skill-building workshop focuses on practical exercises to help people organize information, structure their writing, and select words that best convey the writer’s meaning. Participants learn to improve their writing efficiency and to write from the reader’s perspective. Each participant receives individual feedback on his or her writing style.

People have different natural writing styles that can help and hurt the readability of their writing. Participants complete a profile to help identify differences in writing styles and plan strategies for flexing to the needs of audience members.

Pre- and Post-workshop Evaluations

We review participants' writing samples before and after the workshop and give specific feedback.
