ENTJ

ENTJ's usually plunge right into a writing assignment, but they may omit details others think are important. They value logic and clarity—focusing like lasers on what to say, but sometimes ignore how they are saying it. Thinkers are most objective and tend to keep a distance between themselves and the reader. ENTJ's almost always make their deadlines. They create a plan for writing and stick with itno matter what. However, they may overlook valuable late breaking information because it doesn't fit their original plan.

Below are some of the advantages and challenges ENTJ's face when writing:

Strengths

Challenges

Excellent organizers; get to the point quickly.

Like wading through complex issues to get to the crux of matters.

Good corporate writers.

Write analytically and dispassionately; usually have factual evidence.

Meet deadlines.

High standards of excellence.

May be too blunt or too brief.

May need elaboration, especially with human examples.

Not so good at fiction or children’s stories.

Need to be in control.

May omit important data that comes along too late to make their self-imposed deadlines.

Hard on themselves.
