ENFJ

ENFJ's bring an infectious enthusiasm to everything they do. They enjoy moving groups toward closure, but only after they are sure everyone has had a chance to contribute. ENFJ's are the people for whom the rating "Works and plays well with others" was invented; they are natural conciliators. ENFJ's often become leaders as they are sociable, popular, and sympathetic. They naturally tend to focus on the audience in their writing and are drawn to new, creative ideas.

Below are some of the advantages and challenges ENFJ's face when writing:

Strengths

Challenges

Motivational, entertaining, and anecdotal writing style.

Have a gift for words, which they can use to "spin a yarn."

Get readers involved in writing, which ESFJ's see as a performance.

Naturally persuasive writers and like to write on human interest themes.

May sacrifice depth for breadth, which they usually correct in revision.

May be wordy or too conversational. May become too cute in their choices of words.

Critical writing is a struggle, since they are so focused on the reader.

A fondness for hyperbole may turn off readers, especially in business writing.
